The Place Value Modular Flip Chart is one of the few number &;resources that I have come across that really helps children to see our number system in action. As it is in a modular format, you can limit the numbers to units and progress quite easily to:

• Tens and Units
• Hundreds, Tens and Units
• Thousands, Hundreds, Tens and Units etc.
• You could even insert a decimal point and allow your child to count forwards and backwards in tenths: now that is a challenge!
