Noodlers gives you and your child the chance to solve some classic visual problems using very colourful and attractive cards and some straws. This type of problem helps to develop and enhance spatial and visual skills as well as promoting flexible thinking.
It is definitely much tougher than it looks so be wary of the age 8 guideline on the box. I would suggest that it is more suitable for 10 year olds and above who are ready to generalise and look for patterns to help them solve problems.
To Play:
Begin with the 3 straw activity cards. Use the sticks to separate the symbols on the puzzle so that there is only one symbol in each space. This is a great game for helping children become spatially aware and developing problem-solving skills. There are 4 different levels so let your child choose which he/she thinks will be the most appropriate.
