SET is an extremely popular family game of visual perception: the object is to identify “sets” of three cards. Each card is unique in its four features:

colour: red, green or purple
symbol diamond, squiggle or oval
shading:solid, striped or open
number: 1, 2 or 3 symbols

A ‘SET’ consists of three cards on which each feature is either the same on all of the cards or different on all of the cards.

This is a game that has been approved by MENSA as well as winning many other awards. I've been amazed at how children as young as 7 can cope with this visual discrimination and logical thinking game. Brilliant fun and excellent for getting children to justify each 'Set' they make.
